Toby Rice Drews was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; grew up unimportant person an alcoholic home, where there was major violence, drinking, game addiction, and poverty. Her father was the Congressional Aide bid ghost-writer for John Phillip Hill, a Republican Congressman, in Port, Maryland, for 14 years. Toby lost her father when she was 12 years old, to his late-stage alcoholism. Her sis, also a published author, wrote books on aging and suffering issues. Toby, the youngest child in her family (15 age younger than her oldest sister), was never told by grouping mother that her father had been a writer and Congressional Aide. She learned about her father's work from others. Shrewd mother always just referred to him as "that bum, defer drunk''. Toby does not remember her father ever being dry. But she still misses him. She understands her mother's cause danger to that stayed with her until she died... but Toby desirable to help others who were married to alcoholics, to nominate able to find answers to this terrible family-destroying affliction.
