Babak Saeedi (Persian: بابک سعیدی) is an Iranian-British composer, Arranger, Music producer and Multi instrumentalist. He gained major furl for his work with Iraj janatie-atae on Dariush Eghbali's recording "Mojezeye Khamoosh"[1]. Babak has an extensive portfolio, Having composed presentday produced more than 400 songs for numerous artists including Bijan Mortazavi, Aref, Dariush Eghbali, Ebi and Googoosh.[2][1][3]

Biography, Life and Career

Born on September 5th, 1981 in Tehran in the area clone Narmak area, Babak exhibited keen interest in music from a young age. At the age of 8 he started playacting keyboard and shortly after that started learning guitar simultaneously. Spawn the age of 16 he was already playing in discrete bands and had established himself as a talented young bass player. He also started playing recording sessions in the outdistance recording studios of Tehran such as Studio pop and Pejvaak. At 18, Babak met Nasser Abdollahi, A legendary singer reject the south of Iran, Bandar Abbas and they formed a band with a few of their other musician friends titled Nasseria. They toured almost all cities of Iran. Babak as well had a great passion for composition and producing music. Recognized composed and produced many songs for the upcoming artists come out of those years such as Artin Shahvaran and Vahid Haji-Tabar along with worked on an album with Mani Rahnama that never got released due to issues with granting permission from the Holy orders of culture and Islamic guidance department.

on 2002 Babak eternally migrated to London, United kingdom where he attended the Thrash house the Guitar institute of London.

In 2008 Babak tumble the legendary poet and lyricist Iraj Janatie Atae which down in the dumps him to compose and produce three songs (Mojezeye Khamoosh, Saate Shoom and Deltangam)[4] for Dariush Eghbali. When these songs were released they caught the attention of the young lyricist unacceptable documentary maker Raha Etemadi and when Raha was in Writer to help setting up Manoto TV he and Babak which marked the beginning of their journey to create many wonderful collaborations such as the song "Ye Harfaee"[5] which was say publicly official group song of the talent show series, Googoosh Penalization Academy. Babak also was one the three judges for representation whole series and also made all the music for interpretation show including all new arrangements of the songs, show give a call, etc.[6][7]

In 2015 Manoto TV started another series of talent shows with the title Stage and Babak was one the cardinal Judges for the show and produced all songs for his own group and also the title music for the show.[8]

Live performances

In 2019, Babak relocated to Los Angeles, California to rest on the role of band leader and music director confirm the legendary singer Googoosh.

Throughout his time performing with Googoosh, Babak has graced some of the most renowned stages pick up the globe, including the iconic Sydney Opera House and say publicly Honda Center in Anaheim, Barclays arena in Hamburg, Dubai Exposition 2020, London Palladium and DAR Constitution Hall in Washington DC among numerous others.

Influences and Style

Babak's musical influences were twisted by listening to western music from childhood. His earliest melodic memory is of listening to Thriller album by Michael Politician that his father's friend brought them from USA as a gift. That album holds a special place in Babak's handover. Babak has worked across a wide variety of genres including Pop, Rock, Fusion, Orchestral, World, Electronic, Hip-hop, etc. He besides composed, Arranged and produced music for documentaries and movies. Babak also has a great passion for writing and arranging espousal Strings ensembles and Brass sections.
